About Us

Medicert was founded in June 2002. Our motivation for starting the business was the realisation that there was a gap in the Scottish market for a medical equipment services supplier who could provide a fast response service at a fair price. Having researched the market we found that as the majority of medical equipment service providers were based in England they were often unable to provide good quality maintenance support to Scottish clients at reasonable prices due to their geographic location. In addition to this we also found that many Scottish businesses did not feel valued by their service provider or that they received the same level of service their counterparts received elsewhere in the UK. Consequently, Medicert was born.

One of the challenges we face as a company is the changing environment we work in. When new guidelines and regulations are brought in, or established ones are changed, we have to be quick to respond. Consequently, we pride ourselves in keeping up to date with current issues across a number of industries and are able to provide the services and advice our clients require. Medicert has therefore developed in to the Scottish medical equipment specialist for small businesses.

With over 20 collective years experience in the medical equipment industry we have seen many changes and have a real understanding of how important your business’s equipment is to you. We also believe in offering real value for money and therefore do not charge a premium on emergency repair services as many of our competitors do.
